Hear what they have to say about themselves and their work in their own words:

Echo, Sammamish I am a rising senior at Skyline High School in Sammamish. In my free time, I love reading, writing, and singing. As a first-gen immigrant, I recognize and personally experience resource and opportunity disparities among youths. This is why I decided to join the ReOpp team: Reconnect to Opportunity aligns with my passion and interest in supporting youth to find their own paths to success. I’m very fortunate to have the opportunity to commit myself to the work of providing resources and opportunities necessary for my fellow mates to succeed.

Faith Richardson, pronouns (she/her), Renton I joined ReOpp because of my passion for uplifting marginalized communities. At school, I use my poetry and studies to turn my passion into action. ReOPP has shown me how empowering the community can be a career. I’m grateful for the opportunity to use my passions and new knowledge to keep youth connected to education.
