About this opportunity
Best Starts for Kids is seeking an experienced survey research organization to prepare, collect, and process data from the Best Starts for Kids Health Survey (BSKHS), a population-based survey about the health and well-being of children in fifth grade and younger and their families in King County, Washington. The primary purpose of the community-based survey is to assess the health and well-being of children and families in King County, particularly related to current issues impacting families and with a detailed understanding in differences across demographic groups. A secondary purpose is to understand changes over time in the health and well-being of children and families in King County, particularly related to indicators with high dosage of Best Starts intervention.
King County conducted the BSKHS every other year during the 2016-2021 BSK Levy: in 2016-17 (September to March), 2019 (January to September), and 2021 (January to September). For the 2022-2027 BSK Levy, we will conduct the BSKHS in 2023, 2025 and 2027. The 2023 survey is expected to launch early January 2023.

King County will respond via an addendum and/or clarification via email or bell notification which will be available for viewing in the E-Procurement Supplier Portal.
Funding Available: King County has budgeted an amount not to exceed $1,000,000 for this project (covering survey cycles in 2023, 2025, and 2027). Proposals in excess of that amount will be considered non-responsive and will not be evaluated.
