Join us in Tukwila for the High School Resource Fair August 14!

Published August 4, 2025

It is back-to-school season, so time again for the Reconnect to Opportunity High School Resource fair where young people and their families can walk through to grab free backpacks, groceries, swag, and connect with other resources.

At the sixth annual resource fair, things will look a little bit different. Rather than a drive-through, families will be able to walk through the fair.

What: ReOpp High School Resource Fair

When: 3 to 5 pm, Thursday, August 14

Where: YouthSource Tukwila parking lot, 645 Andover Park W., Tukwila 98188

ReOpp is a reengagement program that connects young people ages 16 to 24 to education and employment resources.

Last year the resource fair distributed hundreds of pounds of food, 250 backpacks filled with supplies, and more to 466 community members.

The resource fair was initially launched in the summer of 2020 as a drive-through resource fair to connect families to basic needs items for school such as food, school supplies, and backpacks. The fair has become a fixture and draws consistent turnout from the community and organizational partners.
