About this opportunity:
The Help Me Grow King County (HMGKC) strategy is based on Help Me Grow, a national model designed to support families and their children by connecting them to what they need, when and how they need it. At Best Starts, HMGKC serves as a foundation for all Investing Early (prenatal to five years old) strategies and is rooted in the values of self-determination, strength, and resilience, and partners with Help Me Grow Washington (HMGWA) and local community organizations to understand how to best connect families and communities to services and adapt the national model. Learn more about our HMGKC strategy by reading our one-pager.
This RFP is seeking to partner with groups and organizations:
- that are rooted in the communities they serve;
- that share culture and language with the families and communities they serve;
- that hold strong relationships with the families and communities they serve; and
- that implement family and community informed programs providing pregnant people, parents and caregivers warm connections to services.
This RFP will fund Family Connection Programs, and each funded partner will participate in the Help Me Grow King County Collaborative Partnership.
This funding opportunity is open to nonprofit organizations, community-based organizations, tribes and tribal organizations and public or governmental agencies serving communities in King County. Small nonprofits and community-based organizations are encouraged to submit proposals.
