About the opportunity:
We are pleased to announce WestEd is looking for facilitators/trainers to support prenatal-to-five providers virtually. We are looking to create a diverse pool of trainers/facilitators for upcoming training/workshops and other learning opportunities for the Workforce Development Strategy in Best Starts for Kids. Best Starts for Kids is a community-driven initiative to support every baby born or child raised in King County, so they reach adulthood happy, healthy, safe, and thriving. Do you have the passion, skills and experience in providing training, teaching, educating, and/or sharing about the three main content areas of: infant and early childhood mental health, healthy childhood development, and racial equity with prenatal to five service providers? Are you interested in supporting a workforce dedicated to pregnant mothers, infants, and very young children and their families? Are you committed to centering equity and social justice – elevating structural and institutional racism, and the disparate impacts on individuals’ collective experiences and outcomes compared to the population as a whole? If so, this opportunity may be for you!
