Best Starts hosting Virtual Open House March 1 for Quarter 1 and 2 funding opportunities

This post was updated to include a new session: Best Starts for Kids Capital Programs.

Best Starts for Kids is hosting a Virtual Open House March 1 so community partners have an opportunity to learn more about upcoming funding opportunities and resources.

At Best Starts we recognize that to build programs that support thriving families, babies, children, and young people, we must build our work in collaboration and with community wisdom. That’s why we host Open House events each quarter to provide a chance to dig deeper into upcoming funding opportunities and welcome questions from existing and potential community partners. While we love communing in-person, we are keeping our Open House virtual to best meet the community’s needs while we still navigate pandemic risks.

We have five sessions attendees can join at the March Virtual Open House where they can learn about upcoming funding opportunities and resources.

  • Universal Developmental Screening
  • Best Starts for Kids Capital Programs
  • Lead and Toxics Program: Increasing Blood Lead Testing
  • Technical Assistance: Getting Help With Your Proposal
  • Community Storytelling: Building a community-led communications strategy

Go to the Open House registration page and sign up for the sessions you wish to attend. You can attend any sessions you’d like, and for as long as it works for you. Please let us know if you need any accommodations. We look forward to seeing you March 1!

You can learn more about these strategies by reading our one pagers for Environmental Supports Led & Toxics, Universal Developmental Screening, and Technical Assistance and Capacity Building.

Check out our recorded sessions and slides from 2022 Quarter 1 (January through March), Quarter 2 (April through June), Quarter 3 (July through September), and Quarter 4 (October through December).
