Meet our communications team:

Erin Fenner has a background in journalism and nonprofit communications. She started her career working in newspapers in Oregon, Colorado, and Idaho, writing about healthcare, behavioral health, housing, courts, and energy. In 2017 she shifted into nonprofit communications working at Washington Community Action Network and later at Recovery Café Network. She is committed to connecting with community members who want to share their stories and challenging inequitable power structures. Outside of work, Erin enjoys the cozy things in life: cooking, reading, watching sci fi shows, and spending time with her spouse and her cat.

Joanne Fong has a background in communications, non-profit fundraising, community engagement and event planning. In her most recent position, she was part of the communications team at Child Care Resources. She loves working to support children and families and is passionate about social justice and racial equity work. She was born and raised in Spokane. In 2018, she moved with her partner to Seattle. When she’s not working, she’s most likely outside in her vegetable garden, doing yard work, or playing with her 11-month old puppy, Snickerdoodle. She loves trying new foods, going to local farmers markets, street fairs, and events.
