RFP deadline extended for COO systems and policy change consultant

Request for Qualifications open through May 31 for consultants to co-design process leading to systems and policy agenda

Communities of Opportunity is seeking a consultant to facilitate a co-design process to develop a Systems and Policy Agenda with community organizations.

The agenda will be informed by the current cohort of 27 grantees and will create a set of systems and policy change priorities to rapidly close today’s racial and geographic gaps in four result areas: community connection, economic opportunity, health and housing.

Individuals, a team of consultants or organizations are welcome to apply. The most competitive applicants will have demonstrated experience that includes:

  • History of work in community and demonstrated racial equity analysis.
  • Ability to facilitate large group process, build relationships and drive towards consensus.
  • Knowledge of Seattle, King County and Washington State policy and systems landscape and environment.
  • Ability to synthesize experience and input from the sources above to produce written policy and systems change priorities reports.

Organizations led by people of color and women are encouraged to apply. The deadline to submit qualifications is May 31.
