Request for Proposal: Evaluation of Communities of Opportunity

Published October 2, 2017

Communities of Opportunity (COO) is an initiative to create equitable community connection, economic opportunity, health, and housing outcomes regardless of place or race. COO is seeking an agency/organization to conduct an evaluation of this existing initiative. The evaluation will answer the overarching evaluation question:

To what extent and in what ways has the initiative’s cross-cutting strategies strengthened community connections and increased equity (by race, place and income) in housing, health and economic conditions in King County?

The most competitive candidates will be an agency/organization with demonstrated experience:

  • Evaluating cross-sector initiatives related to community development, economic conditions, health, and/or housing.
  • Applying an equity lens and working with diverse communities.

Organizations led by people of color and women are encouraged to apply.
