Beginning in 2026, the Department of Community and Human Services (DCHS) is using Agiloft to manage funding opportunities, also known as solicitations. Best Starts funding opportunities, in both DCHS and Public Health – Seattle & King County (PHSKC), will require organizations to have a DCHS Agiloft account when applying for funding. It can take a week or more for DCHS to create new Agliloft accounts.
This is how your organization can get ready:
For organizations new to DCHS Agiloft
- We encourage you to create an account now, so that you are ready when a funding opportunity is announced. It can take a week or more for DCHS to verify information and create an account.
- Organizations need to submit a W-9 form and a form signed by your organization’s Executive Director or leader. Visit the DCHS Agiloft Website to create an account.
For current DCHS Agiloft users
- Make sure your organization has at least one staff member with an Agiloft account. We encourage you to add accounts for staff members typically responsible for application writing, so the right people have access at the right time.
- Visit the DCHS Agiloft Website to manage accounts in Agiloft.
For additional training and supports, visit the DCHS Agiloft Website for training videos, step-by-step guides, and virtual technical support drop-in hours. If you have any questions, email DCHSAgiloft@kingcounty.gov.
Important things to keep in mind:
- If your organization is fiscally-sponsored, the fiscal sponsor will need to create the Agiloft account.
- If you have been awarded Best Starts funding or hold a contract with PHSKC, you will need to create an Agiloft account to apply for future Best Starts funding opportunities.
