Why we make this list

At Best Starts we work to build long-term sustainable supports for our community so that every baby born and child raised is happy, healthy, safe and thriving. And we recognize we can’t do it all on our own.

We will always promote our Best Starts funding opportunities here on the blog and website. But we’re also posting this monthly blog series, to highlight funding opportunities from other agencies and organizations that promote the health and well-being of babies, kids, and young people.

If you know of other grant opportunities that serve babies, kids and young people in King County, please email us at Best.Starts@kingcounty.gov and we will include them in the next posting.

These opportunities are not intended to be a recommendation from King County to apply for these opportunities. These opportunities will not be right for every organization. Organizations must do their own research to make sure an opportunity is the right thing for their organization. This list is intended to be a service to our community and service organizations.
