Transitions to Adulthood

Youth across King County deserve equitable access to opportunities that will support their long-term success. Best Starts for Kids’ Transitions to Adulthood strategy supports young people 16-24 years old who face barriers in meeting their education and employment goals. Partnering with our team of peer connectors, young people are supported as they navigate and enroll in education and employment services to build off their strengths and current needs.

The programs and resources funded under this strategy support with high school completion, enrollment into postsecondary education and preapprenticeship training, behavioral health services, career exploration, internships, and employment services.
