Join the advisory committee for the evaluation of the second Best Starts levy!

Best Starts’ partner, ORS Impact, is recruiting participants for an Evaluation Advisory Committee to help provide guidance to the evaluation of the second Best Starts for Kids Levy.

If you are with a provider organization:

If you are a community member:

The evaluation aims to understand and measure success of the levy and to identify areas of improvement. This advisory committee can help our teams ensure we incorporate community input into this process.

What is the ask?

  • ORS Impact is looking for advisory committee participants to help guide and inform the design, implementation, and learning process of the new Best Starts for Kids levy evaluation.
  • Time Commitment: Approximately 3 to 4 hours per quarter (virtual meetings and occasional prep or other support)
  • Duration: While the evaluation runs through summer of 2027, advisory board members may rotate and are not expected to make a multi-year commitment. Evaluation phases will provide natural breaks for members to join or depart.

Who can join:

In addition to Best Starts for Kids program staff, staff and leaders of Best Starts provider organizations, and community members engaged in Best Starts programming are eligible to join.

Advisory committee members from provider organizations and the community will receive stipends for their time.
