About 30 people, including staff from Best Starts, community organizations, and families who access Best Starts supports, gathered mid-March to celebrate the send-off of a King County Metro Bus fully wrapped in a Best Starts design.
The fully-wrapped articulated bus will be on South King County routes for the next year with the intention to generate community connection and understanding about the work Best Starts does in partnership with community organizations to reach babies, kids, young people, and families.
The bus features photos of community members from King County, who connect with our community partners to build connections, access resources, and pursue their goals. At the send-off event, families who were featured in photos on the bus got a chance to see the design up close.
