At Best Starts, we want healthy babies to grow up with a strong foundation for lifelong health and well-being. Promoting First Relationships (PFR) – Agency Training is an evidence-based curriculum that trains service providers in the use of practical, in depth, effective strategies for promoting secure and healthy relationships between caregivers and young children ages birth to five.

This RFA seeks community-based agency staff to participate in the PFR Train-the-Learner training model or Train-the-Trainer training model.

This funding opportunity is open to agencies with staff who work for a non-profit human service agency in King County with education/experience in social work, psychology, early intervention, early childhood education, home visiting, or related fields. View the complete eligibility criteria in the full RFA document.

We have budgeted approximately $128,000 for this project. This funding is expected to be spread across multiple agencies with funding levels varying between $3,000 – $20,000 for qualified applicants.
