Published November 6, 2023

Best Starts is hosting a second Capital Program Open House! Join us for a presentation on the Best Starts Capital Program to learn more about upcoming funding opportunities. We will discuss our Priority 1 funding round, which will be released in December 2023. Priority 1 funding will cover new construction and renovation of property for new community or recreational centers, which prioritize serving low-income Black, Indigenous, People of Color children, young people, and families lacking access to similar facilities. Best Starts will also provide capital planning grants of up to $100,000 for Priority 1 projects.

This Open House is an opportunity to meet our Best Starts Capital Program manager, learn about this new investment area, understand Priority 1 funding, learn about the application process, and have an opportunity to ask questions.
