About this opportunity:

At Best Starts, we want healthy babies to grow up with a strong foundation for lifelong health and well-being. Promoting First Relationship (PFR) – Agency Training is an evidence-based curriculum that trains service providers in the use of practical, in depth, effective strategies for promoting secure and healthy relationships between caregivers and young children ages birth to five.

This RFA seeks community-based agency staff to receive PFR training in order to become a PFR Agency Provider or PFR Agency Trainer depending on past training experience. Training, monitoring, and reflective consultation will be provided by a PFR University of Washington trainer.

This funding opportunity is open to individuals, private agencies, nonprofit organizations, tribes and tribal organizations, schools and school districts, and public or governmental agencies with staff who work with King County families and young children, primarily birth to five, who live in environments where stressors are particularly high.
