We’re Hiring a Training Lead for Prenatal-Five Workforce Development!

Best Starts for Kids is seeking a Prenatal-Five Workforce Development Training Resource Lead who will work closely with the Prenatal-Five Workforce Development Lead and other team members to co-plan and implement the Workforce Development strategy within Best Starts for Kids.

We are looking for a team member who has strong relational and communication skills, values creativity and innovation, and has an unwavering commitment to equity and social justice. Individuals who have lived and/or working experience with diverse communities in King County are strongly encouraged to apply.

Job duties include:

  • Work with team members and systems partners to assess and improve the professional development system for prenatal-five providers in King County
  • Assist, design, and provide capacity-building opportunities for training consultants
  • Work with training consultants to develop and enhance curriculum/trainings
  • Work with community partners to develop and monitor professional development plans
