At Best Starts, we partner with communities impacted by inequities to improve the spaces young people and their families live, learn, work and play so that they grow up happy, healthy and safe. In order to support sustainable, healthy behaviors and long-term positive outcomes, we focus on increasing young people’s access to healthy and affordable foods, engaging community in physical activity, reducing exposure to unhealthy products and dangerous substances, and creating safe and healthy promoting environments.
