The Community Well-Being Program Manager (PPM III) position will support the Community Well-Being Initiative in Best Starts for Kids and collaborate with Public Health’s COVID19 response. The Community Well-Being Initiative (CWI) will promote social, emotional and mental health and wellbeing through a multigenerational approach. CWI will build community capacity to share resources and deliver culturally relevant programming on emotional health and wellbeing in order to reduce stigma associated with mental health topics and reinforce compassion, connection, and care in communities.

The Community Well-Being Initiative is a part of Best Starts’ Liberation and Healing strategy, and sits within Public Health-Seattle & King County’s Policy Team in the Office of the Director. The position reports to the Strategic Advisor for Trauma-Informed Systems and Community Well-Being Initiative Lead.

King County Executive Branch employees are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
