Introducing our new Help Me Grow Advisor

We are excited to introduce Amy Pak as our new Strategic Advisor for Help Me Grow. Most recently Amy served as the founding Executive Director of Families of Color Seattle (FOCS) and brings 20 years experience creating high impact change in King County as a coalition builder and racial equity leader. Amy joins the Best Starts for Kids leadership team and will oversee the implementation of the Best Starts Help Me Grow framework strategic plan.

Amy Pak, the new Best Starts for Kids Help Me Grow Strategic Advisor

Amy Pak joins the Best Starts team with a background in the community mental health, youth and family, and non-profit leadership sectors. She serves as a Partner with Social Venture Partners. Amy is a Korean American immigrant, transracial adoptee and a mother of two elementary-aged boys.

Amy will help lead the Help Me Grow team to create a new system to support families and children throughout King County by building on the strengths of communities, through multi-directional community system linkages. Amy and the team will work with community-based partners, medical providers and national and state-level Help Me Grow colleagues, King County’s Children and Youth Advisory Board as well as leadership and staff across multiple King County departments, to develop and implement this strategic plan. In this leadership role, Amy will represent King County when coordinating with statewide partners.
