Best Starts for Kids is hiring a Help Me Grow Strategic Advisor (Project/Program Manager IV) to serve as lead for developing and overseeing the implementation of the Best Starts for Kids Help Me Grow framework

Implementing Help Me Grow is the overarching strategy for organizing Best Starts for Kids investments for families and children prenatal to 5 years of age. Help Me Grow is a system model that works to promote cross-sector collaboration in order to build efficient and effective early childhood systems that mitigate the impact of adversity and support protective factors among families, so that all children can grow, develop, and thrive to their full potential. This position will provide strategic direction, vision and decision making for implementation of the Help Me Grow framework, ensuring a focus on a community driven process.

The successful candidate will have deep knowledge of equity and social justice principles and practices, strong knowledge of the prenatal to five years and early learning sectors in King County and Washington State, and the ability to identify intersecting issues, challenges, and opportunities for collaboration.

The position reports to the Policy Manager within Public Health’s Office of the Director. They will work closely with team members who lead or coordinate related strategies, and will be part of the Best Starts for Kids implementation effort, in alignment with staff from Public Health – Seattle & King County and the Department of Community and Human Services.
