Communities of Opportunity is hiring a Project/Program Manager (PPM II) to join our team to implement COO’s vision of enhancing community leadership and investing in community-led solutions to advance racial, social and economic equity in King County.
The Project/ Program Manager will provide technical assistance to COO grantees and manage a portfolio for place-based and cultural community partnerships. The PPM II will work with community organizations and grass-roots coalitions that are tapping into their community’s strengths and assets.
COO seeks to build support and accelerate momentum to improve population health and well-being in parts of the county where the greatest disparities in health, housing, and economic opportunity exist. COO does this through collaborative projects, policy & system change efforts, and learning activities.
The PPM II will join a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team that includes COO co-founding partners at King County’s Department of Public Health, Department of Community and Human Services, and the Seattle Foundation. This is a full-time, career service position that is funded through the voter-approved Best Starts for Kids levy.
