Seeking consultant to work with Communities of Opportunity partners – Deadline April 27

Communities of Opportunity is seeking a consultant to facilitate the co-design process to develop a Systems and Policy Agenda with community organizations.

The agenda will create a set of priorities that will inform Communities of Opportunity funding and guide other systems and policy change work within the initiative. The consultant will work with the 50+ organizations that were recently awarded Community of Opportunity grants from Seattle Foundation and King County to influence changes to systems and policy that will reduce racial and geographical disparities. Community partners are focused on four priorities: community connection, economic opportunity, health and housing.

The most competitive candidates will be an individual/agency/organization with demonstrated experience that includes:

  • History of work in community and demonstrated racial equity analysis.
  • Ability to facilitate large group process, build relationships and drive towards consensus.
  • Knowledge of local landscape and policy environment.
  • Ability to synthesize and produce written reports.

Deadline is April 27th. For more information and application, visit Seattle Foundation’s related blog post.
