Best Starts for Kids is hiring a Prenatal to 5 Team Lead to oversee a multi-disciplinary work team and manage Early Intervention services for birth-to-three year old children with developmental delays and disabilities and their families. This leadership position will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing a comprehensive system of universal developmental screening, services and supports for children birth-to-five years old; and systems building for infant/early childhood mental health.
The successful candidate will have a deep knowledge of equity and social justice principles and practices, knowledge of strategic planning, policy development, and and communication strategies, and a demonstrated ability to improve services within complex Federal, State, and County systems.
This position functions within the King County Department of Community and Human Services and reports to the Division Director. The successful candidate will work closely with the Strategic Advisor for Children and Youth, Strategic Advisor for Help Me Grow, and other staff from the Department of Community and Human Services and Public Health – Seattle & King County.
