Communities of Opportunity aims to support health, social, economic and racial equity in King County so that all people thrive and prosper, regardless of race and place.
We are expanding our investments in collaborative place-based solutions and policy/systems change activities that build on the assets in communities. In September/October of 2017, Communities of Opportunity will release two Request for Proposals (RFPs) for investments to address affordable housing, economic opportunity, community connections and better health.
Funding will be available for:
(a) Institutions, systems and policy change, and
(b) Community partnerships in geographic communities and in cultural communities.
Contracts for awarded project will begin in January 2018.
