Best Starts for Kids is hiring a Program Manager to support the development of healthy and safe environments in King County, with emphasis on communities and populations that experience the greatest inequities. The Healthy and Safe Environments Program Manager will provide project and contract management as well as technical assistance to Healthy and Safe Environments project partners.
The successful candidate will have a proven strong independent work ethic, strong communications skills and ability to bring partners together to improve public health and/or public safety outcomes sometimes involving complex relationships. Moreover, they will have a strong commitment to health equity.
This position will be part of Public Health’s Chronic Disease and Injury Prevention (CDIP) Section and will report to the CDIP Program Manager for Healthy and Safe Environments. Additionally, this position will work closely with Best Starts’ 5 – 24 Policy and Program Manager and Community Partnerships Manager.
