Planning for implementation of the programs and services under Best Starts for Kids has been underway for several months. Now, with the approval of the King County budget, we are able to move closer to getting those services into the community!
On Monday, November 14th, the King County Council unanimously approved the King County Budget which in part, approves Best Starts for Kids investments for 2017 and 2018.

We are planning to get the first RFP’s out to the community during the first quarter of 2017. Hiring will continue to move forward. You can check this blog and the King County careers website for information on open positions.
